WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR FREE CONSULTATION
Our team is committed to providing you and your family with caring, professional and high-quality orthodontic care. It is our goal to make you feel comfortable visiting our practice while delivering exceptional patient service and orthodontic treatment!
When you arrive for your orthodontic consultation at our clinic, you will be greeted by our treatment coordinator and be given a brief clinic tour of our practice. Next, one of our team members will take a complimentary x-ray of your teeth so that Dr. Papadopoulos can properly evaluate your teeth, roots, bone levels, TMJs, and look for any abnormalities such as missing or extra teeth. We will also take specific pictures of your smile, profile and teeth so that Dr. Papadopoulos can properly assess your smile aesthetics to develop a unique orthodontic treatment plan just for you.
After orthodontic records (x-rays and pictures) are taken, you will meet Dr. Papadopoulos in our private consultation room with our treatment coordinator. Dr. Papadopoulos will discuss your treatment goals and desires, and then complete a brief oral exam of your teeth (approximately 2-3 minutes) and evaluate your orthodontic records. He will then propose treatment options and discuss them with you in detail, so that you have every question answered. We pride ourselves on being open, honest and taking our time with you and your family.
Following a discussion of the treatment options and selecting the best plan for your smile, our treatment coordinator will review the plan in depth, go over specifics as they relate to braces, Invisalign or any other appliance that was discussed, and review payment options.

The entire consultation process can take anywhere from 30-45 minutes. Should you elect to begin your orthodontic treatment the same day, we can usually accommodate this request unless other pending dental work is required (e.g., cavities to be filled at your general dentist). Lastly, your dentist (if you have one) will receive a letter that outlines the proposed treatment so that they are aware of your treatment goals and the proposed treatment plan.
